Spankin' new as of last night, Wise Acre Eatery, the guys of TangleTown Garden have crossed the street and started cooking. Well not them, but they've brought in a talented team to take on the task. It's a "what's old is new again" vibe owner, Scott Endres, told me last night. Meaning, the classic and basic farm ingredients from their 40-acres in Plato turn into creative twists from salads, slaws, burgers to savory puddings and bacon steak. Nice addition to a neighborhood that needed a welcoming venue.    the inn The guys from St Paul's hip Strip Cub Meat & Fish steakhouse bring their love across the river. A unique touch on the drink menu, a "bump and a beer".    jack's With a face lift of the space and menu from the former Java Jack's, this adds another little darling to the ever-growing 46th St in So. Mpls. Reasonably-priced homely items, with Sunday night "hot dish" night perfect for the whole family. Long bar makes it a great place to stop in for a glass of wine and cheese. Now if only Pattiserie 46 could open for late-night dessert!   pizzeria lola I've yet to have pizza at Lola cuz we stopped too late. But I saw the most beautiful cooper wood burning oven & tried Ann's house-made vanilla soft serve ice cream with extra-virgin olive oil & fleur de sel!     in-season Executive Chef Don Saunders is back! London-trained Saunders made his name cooking unfussy but spectacular French food at the critically acclaimed AuRebours and Fugaise.
